Somewhere along the line, the Supreme Court of the United States has morphed from nine pragmatic justices who decide the fate of legislation as it relates to the Constitution (and only the constitution) into six constitutional justices and three evil Oracles on the Mount who must decide the fate of legislation and our country. Six apply the constitution and the Founding Father's reasoning, while three narcissists work from feelings, ideology, tea leaves, bones rolling and an overblown sense of supreme power. Democrats - Another Mass shooting! 4th of July parade! Those idiots on the Supreme Court screwed up! We need tougher gun laws! Me - That happened in Chicago!  One of the most violent cities  with some of the strictest gun laws on the books! Those laws didn't help. Democrats- That's because Indiana has loose gun laws!  They can carry out in the open there! Now all those guns flood into Illinois and Chicago! Me - Then why does Indiana, with all those loose gun laws, have such a low rate of violence? If it's about the guns, why are the most violent cities in this country all democratically controlled? Today the Supreme Court ruled, in a 6-3 decision, that it is Constitutional for an individual to carry a gun outside the home for personal protection. This ruling only affects nine states that have "MAY" issue laws, instead of "SHALL" issue laws -  California, Connecticut, Delaware, Hawaii, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, and Rhode Island .   "May" means you must show cause to procure a license to carry, usually something along the lines of   immediate danger . "Shall" means (for all practical purposes) that other than a clean background check, the state must license you. This 6-3 decision (six Constitutional Justices vs three Left-wing Activist Justices) exposes the Left's inability to make rulings based on the application of the Constitution vs an activist ruling based solely on emotions, feelings, and a progressive agenda. RANT ON In the wake of another school shooting, this one in Texas, an 18-year-old man takes the lives of 21 people... So a mental defective in Texas goes on an inconceivably evil rampage, extinguishing the lives of children and adults alike, a virtual psychopath who takes pleasure in the carnage they are committing - both in the cost of lives and collateral emotional wreckage - and your best plan to stop someone from doing so again is to destroy the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, and start a civil war? Your reaction - frustration, fear, pain, and overwrought emotional fervor - is to throw out the Second and Fourth Amendments, giving free rein to armed  tyrannical government agents to go to the homes of approximately 100,000,000 law-abiding gun owners who had absolutely nothing to do with the mentally-ill, soulless creature who perpetrated this heinous act and confiscate the 400,000,000 guns they own and the 1 trillion rounds of ammo they hold?
