SCOTUS - Six Constitutionalists vs Three Evil Oracles on the Mount?

Somewhere along the line, the Supreme Court of the United States has morphed from nine pragmatic justices who decide the fate of legislation as it relates to the Constitution (and only the constitution) into six constitutional justices and three evil Oracles on the Mount who must decide the fate of legislation and our country. Six apply the constitution and the Founding Father's reasoning, while three narcissists work from feelings, ideology, tea leaves, bones rolling and an overblown sense of supreme power.

The Left would like the court to have nine oracles! 

They want justices who side with the left's activist ideology, who believe the constitution is a "living, breathing document" (it is not),  allowing the Oracles to rule as the Oracles see fit, turning the founder's great experiment in Liberty into a socialist hellscape of government overreach and oppression.  The left doesn't want a Supreme Court, they want progressive women and men to rule over us with dictatorial freedom to impose upon us the unconstitutional laws that take away our freedoms and expand the government's reach into our lives and our pockets.  

The Supreme Court is bound by the Constitution, while Oracles are bound only by their own grand opinions and one-world government ideologies.

In the recent New York vs Bruen case, in which SCOTUS overturned the New York "may issue" gun carry law, making this country a "shall issue" freedom zone, Justice Bryer's dissenting opinion included this...

"In my view, when courts interpret the Second Amendment, it is constitutionally proper, indeed often necessary, for them to consider the serious dangers and consequences of gun violence that lead States to regulate firearms." Page 85 - 2 of dissenting opinion.

His view, of course, would be wrong. Completely wrong. His view is nothing more than his personal opinion, or in today's liberal vernacular, his "truth." His "view" is not, however, embedded in the constitution, nor how the Judicial Branch works. He is bound by law and duty to rule as the constitution requires, not by his head, heart or ideology. It's one of the most difficult things a justice must do, for even if he believes the constitution is wrong, he must rule with the constitution and trust Congress.  Congress is there to make law - they are the "legislative branch" - it is not the Supreme Court's place to legislate from the bench, making law out of thin air - which is what the left would so dearly love.

But they are not Oracles!

The foundation of this country is its constitution and the individual freedoms which it protects... and the left hates this.  The constitution is a monolithic concrete block that stands in the way of seething leftists who want to move this country to socialism and a one-world alliance. It is why a Constitutional Originalist Justice is labeled a "conservative extremist" for following that parchment. It is why Constitutional Justices are harassed in restaurants and in front of their homes. It is why there are assassination attempts on those Justices. After all, how is it possible that following that Constitution is tearing down our "Democracy?"  How is it that Liberal politicians, media, and voters don't know we aren't a democracy, but a Representative Republic?  How is it so many Americans don't understand the founders hated "democracy" - majority rule - in that it always, always leads to a tyrannical government?  

Take the reversal of Roe v Wade, which did not ban abortion.  

As Justice Alito wrote in the opinion...

"The Constitution does not prohibit the citizens of each State from regulating or prohibiting abortion. Roe and Casey (Planned Parenthood v Casey - 1992) arrogated [usurped] that authority."

Conservative Ben Shapiro, best-selling author, a lawyer with a degree from Harvard Law, columnist, and Editor Emeritus of the Daily Wire explains...

"Alito is, of course, correct. Roe is a legal abomination with no support in the Constitution's text, our nation's history or any legal precedent. The Supreme Court merely usurped power in order to jam down its political opinions on millions of Americans; Roe didn't end national controversy on abortion, it froze it in place, preventing states from adopting regulations tailored to their voters. Overturning Roe would merely restore the question of abortion to the states; New York would continue to allow abortion until birth, while Texas would ban nearly all abortion."

The original Roe v Wade ruling was "oracles" over the constitution.

So, again, this recent ruling did not ban abortion.  It did, however, bring forth all the vitriol, viciousness, and anger the Progressive Left could muster.  You see, the left doesn't care if the ruling was correct.  They don't care if it followed the rule of law.  They are five-year-olds who are told they can't have candy before dinner.  They don't care!

Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., said she was "angry and upset ... The Republicans have been working toward this day for decades. They have been out there plotting, carefully cultivating these Supreme Court justices so they could have a majority on the bench who would accomplish something that the majority of Americans do not want."

Why does Warren fear voters taking control of their destiny if the majority of Americans - she claims - do not want Row v Wade overturned. Could it be because she twisted the poll numbers to her favor, to support her argument?  As The Federalist reports...

"...a recent Harvard Poll says the majority of Americans, 72 percent, support bans on abortions at least as restrictive as a ban after 15 weeks of gestation. Even 60 percent of Democrats say their states should allow abortions no later than 15 weeks. That’s a drastically different position than Democrat politicians’ calls for unlimited abortion and the media’s amplification of that radical position."

Chuck Schumer released this completely false and quite honestly insane missive to the press - with my comments interspersed...

“Today is one of the darkest days our country has ever seen. Millions upon millions of American women are having their rights taken from them by five unelected Justices on the extremist MAGA court. [You know, those pesky constitutional originalists.]

"These justices, appointed by Republicans and presiding without any accountability, have stolen a fundamental right to have an abortion away from the American women in this country. [Not true, the decision did not ban abortions, but returned the question to the States, one step closer to the voter, one step closer to the democracy the left claims they want, and a constitutionally correct decision.  And, on a side note, there is nothing in the constitution that confers a "right" to take the life of an unborn child.]

"These justices were intentionally appointed by Republicans to overturn Roe v. Wade and every Republican Senator knew this would happen if they voted to confirm these radical justices.  These MAGA Republicans are all complicit in today's decision and all of its consequences for women and families in this country. [When you disagree with SCOTUS they are "radical justices." When they are radical, you must invoke "MAGA" to continue the onslaught against Trump supporters.]

"Today's decision makes crystal clear the contrast as we approach the November elections: elect more MAGA Republicans if you want nationwide abortion bans, the jailing of women and doctors, and no exemptions for rape or incest.  Or, elect more pro-choice Democrats to save Roe and protect a woman's right to make their own decisions about their body, not politicians." [And there it is.  This is the real reason for all the hyperbole, misinformation, and lies. It's fear-mongering for votes, a rant to anger and incite their political supporters to get to the polls and stop the evil, wicked Trump-supporting MAGA followers - re: anti-socialist, Constitutional freedom-loving Americans.]

Why doesn't the left go ahead and pass a law protecting abortion?  That's what Congress does.  That's what legislators do.  And they continue to avoid the hard fact that the Democrats have complete control of the government!  They have the Presidency, the Vice-Presidency, the House of Representatives, and the Senate! But of course, they won't pass that legislation.  Why?  Because it would just anger 72% of voters. It would be detrimental to their re-election bids.  

So, its better to just moan and whine and act all angry and try to salvage the November elections, and in the end, work towards tearing down the Supreme Court, replacing it with omnipotent Oracles who agree with the left, bound by nothing other than their own power drunk opinions, allowing the left to have unfettered authority in ruling over the citizens of this country, packing the court with ideological Marxists and Socialists who hate the individual freedoms the constitution protects and, let's face it, those individuals who exercise those rights.

The coming elections, November 2022 and beyond, will shape our country for years, if not generations, to come.  Freedom lovers must unite and vote before we don't have freedom anymore, being ruled by Nine Oracles on the Mount.
