TDS - Just Another Name for Democrat Stupidity

The stupidity of the Dems is fully on view for all to see.  The Dems have been going after Trump since he threw his hat into the ring.  They thought, if they kept up the pressure, no matter if they lied or cheated, they could stop him from gaining the nomination.  When he won the nomination, and then the Presidency, they went off the reservation and the "resist Trump" action plan went into effect.  This would be a concerted attack by the Dems, the MSM and highly placed Deep State operatives throughout the intelligence community.  The coup - a real, live dishonorable act of treason against a duly elected President - began.

Even as each phony "investigation" fell by the wayside, they stepped up with the next attack, the next planned attempt at destroying the President, no matter the cost to this country and it's citizens.  

You see, the Dems thought, if they just kept up the pressure, kept attacking, kept maligning, kept attempting to destroy the President, his family, and his supporters, he would finally, in exasperation and frustration, quit.  Just say, "the hell with this. I don't need the aggravation.  I won't run in 2020."   So, no matter how insane their words, no matter how outrageous their claims, they just kept coming at him.

It didn't work.

Now we are on "impeachment", which has - predictably - blown up in their faces.  You see, they thought they could manipulate Americans into believing Trump had extorted information about a political opponent (Joe Biden) from the Ukraine that would help the President, in exchange for money.  But they overplayed their hand.  They in no way, shape or form, thought the President would release the transcript of a private phone call between himself and the President of Ukraine, therefore allowing them to lie with impunity.

Apparently, after 3.5 years of Trump, they still haven't learned a thing.

Now?  They have a whistleblower who gave testimony based on second, third and fourth-hand information (requirements that whistleblowers have FIRST-HAND information was changed just 10-days before the whistleblower filed his complaint after talking with Dem Adam Schiff's staff).  They have "witnesses" who, to a man and woman, cannot articulate any High Crime or Misdemeanor the President may have committed.  And they ignore the fact the Ukrainian President and Ambassador both have stated there was no pressure, no quid pro quo, and in fact, they had no idea money had been withheld.

And still, they keep going.

Now they have boxed themselves into a corner.  The "impeachment" proceedings are not only a farce, but the TV ratings are dropping daily, to near minuscule numbers.   Recent Emerson Polls show the Presidents approval rating climbing and more importantly, independent voters - those voters the Democrats need to have a chance at a win in 2020 - are not only against impeachment, but the numbers have swung dramatically in Trump's favor since the beginning of the proceedings.

And yet they keep beating their heads against a dead-end wall, like a miswired Roomba clunk, clunk, clunking away.  

Schiff has repeatedly denied the House Republicans the opportunity to bring in the "whistleblower" or Hunter Biden, if for no other reason than he understands he and the Dems will be exposed for the lies they've told about both men.  So what exactly was the plan on this impeachment?

Besides the incredibly feeble-minded hope the President would throw up his hands and walk away at the end of his term, they figured they would vote yes on the Articles of Impeachment, sending the mess to the Senate, where Republicans hold the majority. Voting along party lines, Republicans would immediately skip the sensationalism and cost of a meaningless investigation and expose their utter disdain for the whole faked proceedings, quickly voting No to impeachment.  The Dems would then be able to scream loudly about the Republicans and the President sweeping the dirt under the rug, hiding the facts, keeping the whole sordid mess under a blanket, smothering the Constitution and the will of the people.

But, once again, everything has backfired.  Their incredible run of bad decisions, abysmal planning, and disastrous outcomes, continues.  It's as if the Democratic Party is being piloted by Wrong Way Corrigan.

Now, the President and the Republicans are saying, "Go ahead, vote for Impeachment... we dare you."  Why?  Because they have decided to go ahead and have an investigation and trial.  And what reason would the Republicans have to do this?  The President and the Republicans know they can call all the witnesses to their investigation that Schiff has protected from the inquiry.  The Senate can call the "whistleblower" and Hunter Biden.  They can call Schiff himself and find out just when he talked to the "whistleblower" and what help and advice he was given.  They can call witnesses to explain why the "whistleblower" complaint form was changed, and under whose order.

Lord, it would be a thing of beauty.  And in the end, after the Democrats are exposed for what they are, Trump Derangement Syndrome imbeciles, they will still vote No to impeachment.

And the Dems will be done.  Cooked goose.  Roadkill.

The Dems, stupid, bumbling Barney Fifes that they are, never expected this tack by the Republican-held Senate.  It never crossed their mind the Senate would do anything but vote quickly to end the investigation, giving the Dems a screaming point for the elections - "Those Republicans covered for the President!  They're protecting a criminal... yada yada yada..." 

So, now, they have a decision to make.  With dismal tv ratings, falling polls and several Democratic seats in real trouble for the 2020 elections, do they continue down the path to destruction and call for a vote?  Doing so, knowing full well the Senate will take up the impeachment investigation, calling witnesses the Dems don't want the public to hear from, ending in the President being exonerated?

Or do they let the inquiry lapse, stopping the gushing flow of stupidity from their collective brain trust? 

They have schemed themselves right into a corner, surrounded by clowns, imbeciles and TDS infected Deep State operatives, led there by their duplicitous, not-so-bright commander-in-idiocy, Nancy Pelosi.
