Good-bye Social Justice Warriors

To all the high-minded, sanctimonious, condescending progressives who have nothing better to do than act like pompous, self-appointed, social justice police, please take your "I'm offended" act somewhere else.

I'm tired of you.

I'm tired of you being offended "for" me, by things that don't offend me at all. I'm tired of you acting as though you are my "moral compass," when you are nothing more than a self-important, "fifteen-minutes-of-fame" wannabe. I'm tired of you preening for the cameras, thinking you are a better person than the rest of us because you are "woke," while
seeing us - the clueless populace - as needing the guidance of your gentle hand while at the same time attempting to oppress us with the hammer of your narcissistic, moral wrath.

There are far more pressing concerns to deal with, without injecting fake racism charges against people who are not racists, who were dressing up for a party, movie, or for fun, without any malicious intent.

Would Superman claim someone was somehow trying to denigrate his Kryptonian culture by dressing like him on Halloween? Of course not. Do Irish people claim "cultural appropriation" when someone dresses up like a leprechaun on St. Patty's Day? Are you kidding me? We've been drunk since sun-up! Do you honestly believe American Indians are offended by the Chicago Blackhawks, the Atlanta Braves or even the Washington Redskins? They aren't.

Only you are.

Me? You have to go pretty far to "offend" me. Honestly, it's damn near impossible. Why? Because, in order for me to care about what you have to say, I would first have to respect you... and I don't. I think you have HPD - Histrionic personality disorder -  which is "characterized by a long-standing pattern of attention-seeking behavior and extreme emotionality. Someone with histrionic personality disorder wants to be the center of attention in any group of people, and they feel uncomfortable when they are not."

Sound familiar?

In the end, remember this...

No one is responsible for your tender sensibilities, but you.

Get a grip...  and a sense of humor.
