The Power of Words and the Dehumanization of Conservatism
If you are a Conservative, or for that matter, anyone who is right of the Democrats, Joe Biden, Political Correctness, BLM or Antifa, you have been called some of these, if not all. Deplorable. Racist. Misogynist. Xenophobes. Homophobe. Red-neck. Uneducated. Extremist. Radical. Islamaphobe. Sexist. Hater. Bigot. White Nationalist. Fascist. Teabagger. Nazi... and Oh boy. This just gets better and better! list goes on and on
The first time I became acutely aware of the Left's agenda against the Right was when Obama, who should have been trying to smooth the divide, instead said middle America was "bitter" and "clinging to guns and religion." Due to middle America's resistance to Obama's move towards a global economy and Socialism, he felt absolutely justified in his cruel and pointed jab towards those whose opinion was the polar opposite of his.
Dehumanizing the enemy is born of the battlefields, where soldiers are bombarded with nomenclature portraying the enemy combatants as evil and despicable, barbaric and sadistic, undeserving of honor, or fair treatment. This constant brainwashing unfetters their minds from the bonds of human decency, allowing them to justify their hatred of the enemy and kill at will, allowing them to see themselves as the 'good guys,' allowing the acts of violence without remorse.
Dehumanizing the enemy on a political level doesn't just give the attacker freedom from the psychological constraints of remorse, but feeds an innate (though false) justification for their hatred of the enemy. It allows the attacker to commit unspeakable acts upon their enemy with a guilt-free conscience, even going so far as to glorify themselves as moral paragons whose acts of vicious denigration, ridicule, and public humiliation - even injury or death - set them apart as a Social Justice Warrior, fighting in the name of self-righteousness and all that is good and worthy.
Saul Alinsky believed in the Dehumanization of the enemy. He taught and believed the "ends justify the means," virtually giving his 'Rules for Radicals' followers the moral key to open the locked door to humankind's most base depravities. In fact, Alinsky celebrated the Dehumanization as deserved, right, and just.
To the Progressive Left, we deserve everything that is happening. We deserve riots. We deserve violence. We deserve to be humiliated and dehumanized. We deserve pain and suffering. We deserve to be beaten down, young and old alike, mobbed by dozens in insurmountable odds. We deserve to be treated with disdain as people inferior to them, in both intelligence and morality.
They crave their pound of flesh. They want to put you in your place. They need us to bleed, to suffer, and to beg for mercy.
As for us? When I look at the far-left Democrats, the words of the great Jack Burton echo in my head...
"Son-of-a-bitch must pay."
This country was born of Rebel Blood. We will not be denied. We will make them pay. We will keep the Republic.
